Newcastle United's second signing of the January transfer window arrived on Tuesday in the shape of French international defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

The Magpies' new number 13 agreed a five-and-a-half year deal on Tyneside, having flown into the country and undergone a medical at the Club's Benton-based Training Centre.
