Monday morning saw heavy snow fall across parts of the country, and Tyneside was no different. But it wasn't enough to deter Newcastle United's players from going through their paces at the club's Benton-based training ground.

New boy Mathieu Debuchy made sure to wrap up, with a hat and gloves, while Steven Taylor joined in with the main group as he nears a return to action after suffering a hamstring injury at Southampton in November.

Another Taylor stepping up his comeback was Ryan Taylor, who ventured outside after previously being consigned to running indoors following his knee injury and he was joined by Dan Gosling, who continues to make good progress.
