As they do every year, United's stars spent Tuesday afternoon visiting children at local hospitals and spreading some Christmas cheer to those who won't be able to enjoy the festive period at home.

The entire squad was in attendance to meet youngsters and brighten up their day at the children's wards of the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Freeman Hospital and North Tyneside General Hospital, meeting patients and handing out presents.
