Pic Special: Snow Joke
Newcastle's players and staff were walking in a winter wonderland as they trained for their Europa League Group D decider in Bordeaux - but the weather ended up having an effect on their preparations for the match.
The sterling efforts of the United groundstaff meant that the lads were able to go through their paces as usual on Tyneside before heading to France. But the conditions meant that their flight was delayed by several hours, with the party finally arriving on Wednesday evening.
That morning, Alan Pardew and his team had donned gloves and scarves and, after a bit of fun in the snow, got down the the hard work. Adam Campbell was back after injury while Conor Newton and Yven Moyo are also involved and a few of the Club's Academy players also joined in training, although they didn't travel.
One man who did, however, was Club Photographer Ian Horrocks. He'll be bringing nufc.co.uk all the action from Bordeaux but first, he captured the snowy surroundings at the Magpies' Benton headquarters.
