Temperatures on Tyneside may have dropped over the last few days, but spirits in the Magpies' camp most definitely haven't.

Freezing conditions meant scarves, hats, leggings and snoods were on display on Saturday morning at United's Benton-based Training Centre as the players were put through their paces ahead of Monday night's home game against Wigan.

But it was all smiles on the training pitch, with the likes of Demba Ba, Fabricio Coloccini, Cheick Tiote and Vurnon Anita all thoroughly enjoying the session put on by manager Alan Pardew and his coaching staff.
