On Tuesday afternoon, United stars Danny Simpson and James Perch were joined by Magpies legends Peter Beardsley and Bob Moncur and Academy players Tom Heardman and Macaulay Gillesphey at St. James' Park for a Foundation event with local primary school children.

Toon Times is a new project where youngsters learn about the past, present and future of the Club and the players spent time chatting to the children before taking part in a question and answer session.
