Newcastle United's annual team photo was taken on Thursday morning with the entire first-team squad - minus defender Paul Dummett, who is on loan at St. Mirren - assembling outside the Club's Benton training ground.

The finished product has aleady been revealed on nufc.co.uk but there's a great deal of work and preparation which goes into the shot, from deciding where each player is positioned to erecting the scaffolding and then taking dozens of images to get the perfect one.

At the same time, individual head shots were taken of each member of the team although some players enjoy it more than others - Cheick Tiote delayed proceedings as he returned to the dressing room to do his hair.
