Fabricio Coloccini trained with his team-mates on Monday morning as Newcastle prepared for Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie away to Manchester United.

The Argentine picked up an injury earlier this month while with his national squad but Alan Pardew has hinted that he could be involved at Old Trafford.

Also involved at the club's Benton training centre was Cheick Tiote, who made his comeback against Norwich on Sunday, and Spanish striker Xisco, who spent most of last season on loan with Deportivo La Coruna.
