Vurnon Anita became United's fourth signing of the summer on Thursday when he agreed a five-year deal on Tyneside.

The midfielder, who can also play at full-back, will wear the Magpies' number eight shirt and should be available for Saturday's Premier League opener against Tottenham.

Anita underwent a medical at the Club's Benton-based Training Centre before undergoing the same physical testing which all the players are put through at the start of pre-season.

And he was then given the famous black and white striped shirt to try on for size, before sitting down with nufc.co.uk and nufcTV for his first interviews on British soil.
