Papiss Cisse was once again United's goal hero as they recorded a comprehensive 2-0 victory over Liverpool on Sunday at the Sports Direct Arena.

Newcastle's number nine struck in either half to secure all three points for the hosts in front of a capacity crowd, on an afternoon where they laregely dominated proceedings.

It was an outstanding team performance, with Cisse, Hatem Ben Arfa and James Perch all particularly catching the eye.

And the game was incident-packed, as Liverpool keeper Jose Reina was handed a late red card, meaning for Magpies left-back Jose Enrique had to take over in goal.
