Pic Special: Newcastle 0 Chelsea 3

Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea was high on incident, with a penalty - saved superbly by Tim Krul - and three goals, as well as five efforts that hit the woodwork - and a controversial early decision by referee Mike Dean.

The official chose only to show a yellow card to Chelsea's David Luiz when he hauled down Demba Ba, believing that Petr Cech would have got to the ball before United's top scorer had he not been fouled. But as our pictures show, Cech was not even in shot as Ba was sent tumbling.

There's plenty more action too in our gallery, with pictures supplied by Ian Horrocks and Serena Taylor.
