Sky Shoot Star Sequences

Before every live Barclays Premier League fixture on Sky Sports, there's a sequence where the players from both sides walk up to the camera and place their hands behind their back when the teams are shown near to kick-off.

And on Tuesday morning, the cameras came down to the indoor facility at Newcastle's Benton training centre to film each player in front of a green screen.

Not only were they shot in 2D, but they were also filmed for Sky Sports 3D - much to the amusement of Hatem Ben Arfa, who donned some glasses to see the full effect.

But Sky's cameras weren't the only ones there, for club photographer Ian Horrocks was on hand to bring us a fascinating and exclusive look behind the scenes.
