It may have been the final game of the campaign but it was no drab end-of-season affair as Newcastle and West Brom played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Steven Taylor and Peter Lovenkrands put United in the driving seat before Jonas Olsson's own goal made it 3-0, but Somen Tchoyi grabbed a second half hat-trick to slightly dampen the mood as the lads embarked on a lap of the pitch in appreciation of the fans' support this term.

It has, nonetheless, been a season to remember and with thoughts now turning to next term, the new Puma home kit was worn for the first time.
