United's 26-year wait for a league victory at Stamford Bridge goes on, but when Steven Taylor headed home a last-minute equaliser on Sunday it almost felt like a win.

Taylor steered home Nile Ranger's flick from Ryan Taylor's corner for his second goal in his last two games to have the last word against The Blues, who had taken an early lead through Branislav Ivanovic.

That was cancelled out by a freak goal from Jonas Gutierrez, who deflected Ryan Taylor's free-kick past Petr Cech, and Newcastle were comfortable enough to introduce youngsters Kazenga LuaLua and Sammy Ameobi in the second half.

But Chelsea went ahead with just eight minutes left, as Alex popped up at the far post to beat Tim Krul - only for that dramatic late goal to ensure a share of the spoils for Alan Pardew's side.
