Pic Special: Newcastle v SpursFor the second match in succession, Newcastle were denied three points by an injury-time goal. But nonetheless, a draw against Champions League-chasing Spurs is not to be sneezed at. It was a dramatic affair, particularly in the second half. Fabricio Coloccini took Danny Guthrie's pass on his chest before rifling past Carlo Cudicini just before the hour mark before both sides saw several chances go begging. But Aaron Lennon scored in the 91st minute to ensure the spoils were shared. There were no yellow cards either, testament to the free-flowing nature of the game, and Ian Horrocks and Serena Taylor bring us the best bits. |
