Pic Special: Newcastle 4 Norwich 3
On Wednesday night, Newcastle staged a remarkable comeback to beat Norwich City 4-3 at St. James' Park.
In a topsy-turvy game under the floodlights, Dwight Gayle gave United the lead but that was cancelled out just before half time by Graham Dorrans' penalty.
The visitors knew that a victory would take them top of the league and when first Cameron Jerome and then Jacob Murphy netted to put them 3-1 up after 69 minutes, it looked like the Canaries would be flying to the summit.
But Gayle quickly pulled one back to set up a grandstand finish as Yoan Gouffran levelled in stoppage time before, in the dying seconds, Gayle got his third to win all three points for the Magpies.
