Ryan Taylor will be among a handful of first-team players at the EA SPORTS FIFA 13 Fan Challenge, right here on Tyneside next week.
Taylor - the self-proclaimed video game king of the Newcastle United dressing room - will be at the event which gives all Magpies fans the chance to play FIFA 13 against squad members and fellow supporters.
The tournament, which is only open to fans over the age of 18, is taking place at Shearer's Bar, on Monday, 22nd October, starting at 6.30pm prompt.
At least four members of the first team squad - including Taylor - will be in attendance, taking on supporters throughout the night. And the best player will face the victor of the Fans Challenge at Shearer's Bar, for the chance to win the EA trophy.
"It should be a cracking night," said Taylor.
"Being number one at Newcastle United for FIFA 13 is a very prestigious thing and I know a lot of the lads think they're contenders. We will just have to see how the evening pans out.
"If anyone thinks they are good enough to take me or the rest of the players on then they should definitely sign up for the Fans Challenge at Shearer's Bar."
Only 64 places are available, so supporters will need to be quick to get their hands on a ticket.
With FIFA 13 released last month, the Fans Challenge will give participants the opportunity to put their practice into perfect.
Prizes on the evening include a PS3 and a signed shirt for the overall Fans Challenge winner, copies of FIFA 13 for all quarter-finalists and matchday tickets for Newcastle United games.
Tickets to enter this fantastic event cost just £5, and to purchase one simply click on the button below.
For those not wanting to take part, it is free to come along and watch, so everyone is welcome.
