Tottenham Hotspur Under-18s 4
Newcastle United Under-18s 1

Three months after a 4-0 loss on the opening day of the season, Newcastle United's under-18s fell to second heavy defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Trailing 2-0 at the break, United pulled a goal back through Lewis Aird but the home stretched their advantage once again.

Spurs took the lead through Kenny McEvoy's close range finish before Roman Michael-Percil's powerful effort doubled his side's lead.

Aird, a half-time substitute, took just four minutes to make his mark as he beat the offside trap before firing home.

Will Miller restored his sides two goal lead just after the hour mark after collecting the ball on the edge of the box and neatly finished past England youth international Freddie Woodman.

The win was secured with five minutes remaining as Woodman brought down goalscorer McEvoy inside the box.

Team-mate Laste Dombaxe stepped up from the spot to secure the victory, condemning United to a second consecutive defeat.
