Judo sisters 1

Newcastle United Foundation is running community sports clubs for young people across Tyneside in Badminton, Judo, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Basketball.

Working with the sports governing bodies, the Youth Sport Trust and Sport England, Newcastle United Foundation aims to get more young people, aged between 11 and 16, to join local sport clubs in the five Olympic sports until August 2013.

Children can attend their local satellite club to try out one or more of the sports, benefiting from expert coaching from the community sports club. Clubs are running after school in the following venues:
