Ball boys

The Newcastle United Foundation is seeking 22 lucky youngsters to play a key role in the special Steve Harper 20 Years Charity Match which takes place at St. James' Park on Wednesday, 11th September.

The official charity of Newcastle United is recruiting a team of 22 ballboys and girls aged between nine and 14 for the one-off fixture, which will see a Newcastle United XI including Alan Shearer, Andy Cole and Peter Beardsley facing a legends team from Italian giants AC Milan.

Ball boys and girls must be able to be at St. James' Park by 5.45pm on the matchday. A Newcastle United tracksuit will be provided for the day but participants will need to provide their own trainer for pitchside duties.

Sandwiches and a drink will be provided at half-time and parents or guardians can collect their children 15 minutes after the game ends. All Newcastle United ballboys and girls are supervised by qualified and CRB-checked Foundation staff.
