Newcastle United Foundation are offering a limited number of free lessons for schools at St James' Park. The two hour lessons are aimed at classes in Key Stage 2 or 3 and include a bespoke educational lesson and a mini tour of the stadium.
Each lesson is designed to meet the individual needs of your class and topics covered include literacy, numeracy, journalism and many more. Our most popular lesson is a mock press conference where pupils ask questions to the 'manager' of NUFC in the stadium media suite.
Lisa Flowdy, class teacher from St James' RC Primary in Hebburn said;
'I am just writing to express our thanks to the team for the excellent session delivered by James and Simon. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the staff likewise.
The tour of the stadium was enlightening and the press conference consolidated the pupils previous learning'.
These lessons are available courtesy of Port of Tyne who have generously sponsored our United in Education programme, allowing 1200 pupils to take part in free lessons at St James' Park.
