Local charities and good causes are being given a chance to win an executive box for an upcoming Magpies match, thanks to Newcastle United Foundation.
The Foundation, an independent charity supported by Newcastle United Football Club, will donate the box to a deserving North-East project for the Newcastle's home game against Everton on Wednesday, 2nd January, at St James Park (kick-off 8pm).
Guests will be served drinks and a three-course meal in the comfort of the box enjoying the pre-match build-up, after which they can soak up the stadium atmosphere from the private balcony area.
The box, which seats ten people and is situated in the South West corner, could be used in a number of ways. For example, the chosen charity may decide to give a group of deserving youngsters a night to remember, or to provide an evening of well-earned respite for carers.
Alternatively, the use of the executive box could be used as a raffle or auction prize to raise funds for the charity.
Charities interested in this opportunity should write a short paragraph explaining what they do and how they would use the box, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday 18th December.
