Salary; £22,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience

Newcastle United Foundation is seeking to recruit a Health & Wellbeing Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Foundation Manager and is responsible for the planning, management, delivery and evaluation of all of the Foundation's health-related initiatives, including Match Fit, Match Fit Families, Youth Work Services and Men's Health across Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

The job role is:

Using the Newcastle United brand, the aim is to increase knowledge and understanding regarding leading a fit and healthy lifestyle. You will be responsible for all staff within the Health & Wellbeing department and will ensure that the delivery of innovative and quality programmes support the achievement of our mission statement aims and business plan targets.

The ideal candidate will have:

 A relevant qualification in nutrition or health
 Proven experience of delivering health promotion activities
 Experience of providing advice and guidance in relation to diet and nutrition
 Experience of managing staff
 Experience of monitoring and evaluating work, planning and recording
 Experience of managing budgets
 Experience of managing to set policies and procedures
 Experience of working with key agencies and partners
 Knowledge of issues related to health inequalities
 Excellent communication skills
 A proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritising, and delegating work appropriately
 Commitment to seeking and learning from feedback and using this to inform future delivery
