Newcastle United's fantastic Conference & Banqueting facilities at St. James' Park have been duly recognised by a leading magazine.

RSVP - the magazine for creative events - has published its results of its poll to find the Top 20 corporate party venues in the UK. And Newcastle United were voted a super seventh on the RSVP list - the only venue outside London to make it onto the chart.

RSVP write: "Newcastle United Football Club is the first venue outside of the capital to make it onto the chart, debuting at a respective seventh place.

"Located in the middle of Newcastle city centre, the club's home is St. James' Park. The venue has been redeveloped and now offers a tempting variety of corporate party spaces. As well as providing match-day hospitality packages, the ground also has spaces, large and small, for events.

"These range from the function suites that can host up to six guests, or boxes that offer panoramic views of the pitch for up to 50. Alternatively, there are the Alnwick and Warkworth Suites that both have space for 100, or the Bamburgh Suite for up to 1,200.

"One of the newest sections is the Magpie Suite, set on two levels with pitch views, natural light and space for up to 250 guests. St. James' Park has been used by many local and multinational clients."

Here's a rundown of how the day takes shape;

8.45am
The Ultimate St James' Experience begins with a footballer's style breakfast at the stadium which includes: fruit, cereal, ham, turkey, salami, a variety of breads, eggs, low-fat turkey sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, fruit juice, water, tea and coffee.

9.30am
A team coach takes you in style to the Academy in Longbenton.

10am
A unique training session and game with the Legend coaches.

Approx 12:15pm
Return coach journey to St James's Park.

1pm
A three course lunch in one of the club's luxurious hospitality suites, prepared by award-winning catering staff. During lunch, the former players will also recall their favourite Newcastle United moments and stories before a question and answer session.

2.40pm
Guided tour of St James's Park, including the dressing room, boot room, pitchside and players' tunnel.

3.40pm
Visit to the NUFC museum.

4.00pm
Depart with gift, certificate and pictures to commemorate the day.
