A pacey right-sided midifleder, Pancrate started his playing career at Louhans-Cuiseaux before moving on to spells with Guingamp and Le Mans.
In August, 2005 he won a £2m switch to Paris Saint-Germain where ne netted 10 times from 91 league outings.
Spent time on loan at Spanish side Real Betis and French outfit Sochaux before being released by PSG in the summer of 2009.
