Kevin Mbabu made his debut for Swiss side BSC Young Boys on Sunday.
And the defender claimed an assist in a 7-1 Swiss Cup win against FC Bazenheid.
Mbabu started at right-back and laid on his side's third goal, scored by Kwadwo Duah. He played the whole game was was booked in the second half for unsporting behavior.
In France, Florian Thauvin started in Marseille's 0-0 draw with Lyon but was replaced after 72 minutes. Remy Cabella appeared as a second-half substitute.
However, Henri Saivet missed Saint-Etienne's game against Bastia through injury.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Riviere played for the opening 53 minutes of Osasuna's 0-0 draw with Celta Vigo.
