Written by Newcastle Utd

Tim Robinson will referee his first game involving Newcastle United when Wolves come to St. James' Park on Saturday

By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

Tim Robinson will be the referee when Newcastle United entertain Wolves on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

The West Sussex-based official was appointed to the Football League list at the start of the 2012/13 season. He was the fourth official for the League Two play-off final between AFC Wimbledon and Plymouth Argyle at Wembley in May 2016.

He's refereed eight games in all competitions so far this season, showing 34 yellow cards and one red. This will be his first game involving Newcastle United.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Matthew McGrath and Akil Howson, with Ben Toner the fourth official.
