Written by Newcastle Utd

Andy Davies will referee Newcastle's Sky Bet Championship game at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

A former youth player at a number of league clubs, Davies has now taken charge of more than 100 Football League matches - but has never officiated a game involving Newcastle United before.

He has refereed eight games in all competitions so far this season - three in the Championship, one in League One, one in League Two, two in the EFL Cup and one in the Checkatrade Trophy - and shown 21 yellow cards and one red.

On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Dan Cook, and the fourth official will be Oliver Langford.
