- Isaac Scot Hayden was born in Chelmsford on 22nd March, 1995.
- He is six feet one-and-a-half inches tall, or 1.87 metres.
- Hayden's primary position is as a central midfielder.
- His father, Sol, was an Aston Villa player in his youth.
- Hayden's first club was Brentwood Boys and, from there, he spent time on Southend United's books.
- He joined Arsenal in 2008, and signed a scholarship in 2011 at the age of 16.
- Hayden captained the Gunners' under-18 team.
- He has represented England all the way from under-16 to under-20 level.
- He was handed his first professional contract in March 2012.
- Having established himself in Arsenal's under-21 squad, Hayden made his first team debut in March 2013 in a Capital One Cup game against West Bromwich Albion.
- His next first team outing came in another Capital One Cup clash, this time with Southampton, at the Emirates Stadium in the 2014/15 campaign.
- He has experience of the Championship, having joined Hull City on loan at the start of the 2015/16 season.
- Hayden played 24 games in total for the Tigers last term as he helped the club to promotion to the Premier League.
- His only goal for Hull - and his first in senior football - came in a 6-0 thrashing of Charlton Athletic in January 2016.
