Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend has missed out on a place in England's 23-man squad for this summer's European Championships in France.
Townsend, 24, had been named in Roy Hodgson's initial 26-man squad ahead of the Three Lions' pre-tournament friendlies against Turkey and Australia, which both ended in 2-1 victories.
The former Tottenham Hotspur wideman won his 11th cap for his country when he was introduced as a second half substitute in the win over the Socceroos at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Friday night.
However, Hodgson selected his final 23 players for the tournament - which gets underway in 11 days' time - on Tuesday, when it was revealed that Townsend was one of three players to be omitted.
The injured Fabian Delph, Danny Drinkwater and Townsend are the three players who failed to make the cut.
England take on Portugal at Wembley on Thursday in their final friendly before Euro 2016 begins.
