Paul Dummett has missed out on Wales' final 23-man squad for the European Championships.
Chris Coleman, who took 29 players to a training camp in Portugal last week, revealed his selection at Hensol Castle in South Wales on Tuesday afternoon.
And despite being a regular in the Barclays Premier League last season when fit, and his ability to play in central defence as well as at left-back, 24-year-old Dummett did not make the cut.
A niggling hamstring problem meant that the Newcastle man didn't feature in Wales' qualifying campaign as they finished second in Group B to reach the finals of a major tournament for the first time since 1958.
Dummett has, however, won two caps for his country and previously represented them at under-21 level. He was born in Newcastle but qualifies for Wales through his grandfather.
He remains on standby in case of any injuries.
Wales will face Sweden in a friendly on Sunday, ahead of their opening Euro 2016 group game against Slovakia on 11th June.
The Wales squad for Euro 2016 is: Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace), Danny Ward (Liverpool), Owain Fon Williams (Inverness Caledonian Thistle), Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), Neil Taylor (Swansea City), Chris Gunter (Reading), Ashley Williams (Swansea City), James Chester (West Bromwich Albion), Ashley Richards (Fulham), James Collins (West Ham United), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), Joe Ledley (Crystal Palace), David Vaughan (Nottingham Forest), Joe Allen (Liverpool), Jonathan Williams (Crystal Palace), George Williams (Fulham), Andy King (Leicester City), Dave Edwards (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid), Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading), Sam Vokes (Burnley), Simon Church (MK Dons), David Cotterill (Birmingham City).
