Midfielder Jack Colback is eyeing an immediate return to the Barclays Premier League with Newcastle

As Newcastle United prepare for life in the Sky Bet Championship, midfielder Jack Colback is already eyeing an immediate return to the Barclays Premier League.
The Magpies' previous season in the second tier saw them promoted back to the top flight at the first time of asking and they will be looking to do the same again next season.
And while Colback feels next season will be more difficult than United's previous stint at that level, there are certain things that can be done to ensure the side give themselves the best chance possible of a swift return.
"The first thing would be to get Rafa (Benitez) on board for next season," the midfielder told nufc.co.uk.
"That will be a big step because he's a huge name in the game and it would be a real positive to keep hold of him.
"He's been good since he's came in and he's improved the team and got everyone playing for each other.
"It wasn't enough to keep us up but keeping him would restore the positivity ahead of the new season. But it's down to Rafa and the board to decide what happens.
"I know the players want him to stay and fingers crossed he does because that will give us a great chance of getting promoted."
Colback also wants to be part of a squad who are well equipped for the challenges of Championship football.
"We need to keep hold of the right players and sign the right players," continued the 26-year-old.
"There are a lot of games and we need a strong squad with good players who are up for the challenge.
"We'll need players who can properly help the team now, not a few years down the line. It's a tough league and you need a strong group of characters in order to get promoted."
