Newcastle United saved the best for last as they ended a disappointing campaign with a 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Rafa Benitez's side took the lead through Georginio Wijnaldum before Aleksandar Mitrovic gave them a 2-0 half time lead.
Erik Lamela pulled one back for Spurs just before the hour mark, then Mitrovic was shown a straight red card.
But Wijnaldum scored his second of the afternoon and his 11th of the season from the penalty spot before late goals from Rolando Aarons and Daryl Janmaat put the gloss on an emphatic victory.
