Anthony Taylor will take charge of Newcastle United's final Barclays Premier League fixture of the 2015/16 campaign, against Tottenham on Sunday (3pm kick-off).
It is the fourth time the Manchester-based official has overseen a Magpies' match this season, having been the man in the middle of September's 2-0 defeat at West Ham United, a 6-2 thumping of Norwich last October, and a single-goal loss at Arsenal in January.
On that afternoon at the Emirates Stadium, he booked four players including Daryl Janmaat and Jack Colback.
In total during the 2015/16 campaign, Taylor has refereed 43 fixtures across the Barclays Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, Capital One Cup, Championship, FA Community Shield and international level, handing out 144 yellow cards and five reds.
The 37-year-old started refereeing in the Northern Premier League in 2002, and worked his way up through the divisions before being appointed to the Football League list at the start of the 2006/07 season.
His first Premier League appointment came in February 2010 and the whistler was promoted to the Select Group of Referees for the start of the following term.
Taylor became a FIFA listed referee in January 2013, before taking charge of the 2015 Capital One Cup final, and the 2015 FA Community Shield.
He has also been named as an additional assistant referee for the Champions League final later this month.
On Sunday at St. James' Park, Taylor will be assisted by Mike Mullarkey and Stephen Child, with Neil Swarbrick the game's fourth official.
