Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett has been named in a 29-man Wales squad for a pre-Euro 2016 training camp.

Left-back Dummett will fly out to Portugal for the camp on Monday, 23rd May, eight days before manager Chris Coleman will select his final 23 players to take to the tournament in France.

If the 24-year-old is selected by Coleman for the finals, he could line up in a friendly against Sweden in Stockholm on Sunday, 5th June before Wales kick off against Slovakia in Group B on Saturday, 11th June.

Dummett - who is eligible to play for Wales through his Welsh grandfather - currently has two caps for his country, the most recent of which coming last November against Holland, who he made his debut against in June 2014.

He has made 23 appearances for the Magpies this season, scoring once, against Manchester United in January's 3-3 draw at St. James' Park.
