Ticket Alert - Liverpool On Sale To Members

Written by Newcastle Utd

Tickets for Newcastle's trip to Liverpool in the Premier League are now on sale to Members

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Tickets for Newcastle United's trip to Liverpool in the Barclays Premier League later this month are now on sale to Members as well as all season ticket holders.

The Magpies travel to Anfield on Saturday, 23rd April, for a 3pm kick-off, and will be looking for a repeat of the 2-0 victory they secured over the Reds on Tyneside in December, where Georginio Wijnaldum's effort and a Martin Skrtel own goal sealed all three points.

And United have opted to take up the biggest away allocation available so as to ensure as many supporters as possible can make the trip to Anfield.

Tickets are priced at £45-£47 for adults, £34-£35 for over-65s and £10 for under-17s.

Included in the allocation are a number of tickets marked 'restricted view' and 'severely restricted view'.

Seats classed as restricted view on Row 1 is due to personnel movement. Seats classed as restricted view on other rows is due to stanchions supporting the Upper Tier, which impair the view of either goal.

Any seats classed as severely restricted view is due to supporters standing up and down and, in the event of this happening during the game, the supporters on Rows 34 and 35 have a very limited view of the goals due to overhang of the upper tier roof.

In purchasing a 'restricted view' or 'severely restricted view' ticket, you are accepting this view and there can be no ticket exchanges or refunds under any circumstances.

Fans who wish to travel to this fixture are advised to apply for tickets as early as possible so that the Club can work with Liverpool to service demand.

Supporters who buy concessionary tickets are advised that they should carry ID with them at the match as it's likely checks will be made at the turnstiles. Any supporter purchasing at the incorrect age band risks non entry on matchday as Liverpool do not upgrade concessionary tickets.

Age bands away from home vary on a game-by-game basis and do not necessarily mirror your age band held at Newcastle United. It is essential that the correct age band is selected at the time of purchase to prevent any disappointment on the day at the visiting club.

As with last season, in order to be sure of sitting together season ticket holders and Members must be registered in an away travel group before purchasing tickets (maximum of ten persons per one group).

Liverpool have put together a guide for all supporters visiting Anfield, which can be found by clicking here.
