Rolando Aarons has been named in the England under-21s squad for the first time ahead of this month's UEFA European Under-21 Championships qualifier against Switzerland.

The winger, who has progressed from Newcastle United's Little Benton Academy to the Magpies' first team, has previously played for England at under-20 level.

Although born in Kingston, Jamaica, Aarons moved to Bristol when he was five years old and joined Newcastle in the summer of 2012 after a successful trial. He's made 15 appearances for the Magpies - nine of them this season - and scored two goals.

England's under-21s face their Swiss counterparts at the Stockhorn Arena in Thun, near Bern, on Saturday, 26th March.
