Latest News: Fans Forum

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United's Fans Forum reconvened earlier this week, and the latest minutes are online

Newcastle United have told supporters at the latest Fans Forum that transfer talks will be resumed with "several targets" this summer as the Club looks to continue investing in the squad.

Transfers was just one of several topics discussed by the Club's board, senior management team and supporters at a scheduled meeting at St. James' Park earlier this week, with the Club also confirming it pursued a number of defensive and offensive targets in January.

The latest meeting also featured discussions around the Club's current league position, with the Club outlining the work going on behind the scenes to address it - including just why a recent first team training camp in La Manga could be so important.

Meanwhile, the Club disclosed that there have been significant changes to its proposed new training centre building, with a "superior facility" now planned.

The latest meeting minutes from the Fans Forum are now online here for all supporters to read.

The Fans Forum was formed in 2013 and includes 15 supporters - each representing a specific area of the Club's diverse fan base - and senior club officials.

The Forum meets during the season to discuss all areas which affect supporters, with on and off-field matters debated around the table. You can find out more here.
