Roger East will referee Newcastle United's Barclays Premier League fixture at Chelsea on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off).
It is the fifth time this season the Wiltshire-based official has taken charge of a Magpies' match, having been the man in the middle of September's home defeat by Watford, a goalless draw on Tyneside against Stoke in October, December's victory at Tottenham Hotspur, and last month's FA Cup defeat at Watford.
On that disapointing afternoon at Vicarage Road in the cup, East booked two players including Cheick Tiote.
In total during the 2015/16 campaign, East has overseen 26 fixtures across the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, issuing 74 yellow cards and one red.
The 50-year-old has been on the National List since 2006, and was an assistant referee at the 2004 FA Cup final and 2006 FA Community Shield before stepping into the middle for the 2006/07 campaign.
East was in charge of the 2012 League One play-off final between Huddersfield and Sheffield United and in the 2012/13 season, oversaw his first Premier League match - a 2-2 draw between Swansea City and Sunderland.
He earned a permanent spot in the Select Group of Premier League officials from the start of 2013/14 campaign.
On Saturday at Stamford Bridge, East will be assisted by Peter Kirkup and Scott Ledger, with Kevin Friend the game's fourth official.
