Sissoko - 'We Can All Do Better'

Written by Newcastle Utd

Influential midfielder Moussa Sissoko says Tuesday night's match against Manchester United is "a massive game against a very big team"

By Dan King - Newcastle United Digital Editor

Moussa Sissoko admits that every Newcastle player can do "a little bit better" - and wants that to start against Manchester United on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Magpies have lost each of their last four games by a single goal, most recently at Watford in the Emirates FA Cup third round.

Again, missed chances proved the difference and Sissoko is confident that United's fortunes will improve if they can become more clinical in front of goal.

But the France international accepts that everybody needs to raise their game and told nufcTV: "We can all do a little bit better.

"I hope the next few games will be better for us.

"I think it's a good thing to have another game soon. We have a massive game against a very big team.

"When you play against big teams, you just have to be solid and give 100 per cent, because they have a lot of good players.

"But I know we can beat anyone. We did it against Tottenham and Liverpool.

"Tuesday's going to be a very big game so I hope we will see a good Newcastle, and a great victory."
