Super sub Alex Gilliead made a sensational impact as Carlisle won at Luton for the first time since 1972.
The Cumbrians were trailing 3-1 when Gilliead came on in the 63rd minute of Tuesday night's League Two encounter.
But within three minutes of his introduction, the 19-year-old pulled one back with a smart shot on the turn.
Then in the 79th minute, he crossed for fellow substitute Jabo Ibhere to equalise.
Seconds later, Derek Asamoah scored what proved to be the winner with a low drive. Gilliead's fellow Newcastle loanee Macaulay Gillesphey missed out through injury, but he is hoping to return to training next week.
In League One, Adam Armstrong and Gael Bigirimana both played the full game as Coventry drew 0-0 at Bradford.
Armstrong hit a post in the first half but the point kept Coventry top of the table.
However, Barnsley are now 22nd after a 3-2 defeat to Peterborough.
Ivan Toney started for the Tykes and played for 76 minutes, but former Magpie Marcus Maddison scored what ended up being the decisive goal for the Posh.
Meanwhile, Shane Ferguson was unable to repeat his two-goal heroics of the weekend as Millwall were beaten 2-1 at Fleetwood. Ferguson came off in the 63rd minute.
Haris Vuckic was not involved in Wigan's 1-0 home loss to Burton.
