Under-18s Switch To Altrincham

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's under-18 fixture at Manchester United has moved to Monday and will be played at Altrincham FC

Newcastle United's under-18 fixture at Manchester United this weekend has been moved from its original Saturday slot to Monday evening (16th November) and will now kick-off at 7pm at Altrincham FC.

The game has been moved from the Red Devils' Academy to give both teams experience of a floodlit evening kick-off before they embark on their FA Youth Cup games later this season.

Manchester United currently sit ninth in the Barclays Under-18 Premier League, with the Magpies two places behind.

The sides last met at Little Benton in September, when Lewis McNall's hat-trick - all with his head - gave Dave Watson's side a 3-2 victory.
