Another three of Newcastle United's youngsters have been called up for international duty with England.

After Alex Gilliead was chosen for Keith Downing's under-20s squad for the Mercedes-Benz Elite Cup in Germany on Wednesday, Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong have been named in Aidy Boothroyd's latest under-19s party and Paul Woolston has been selected for Steve Cooper's under-17s.

Both are part of an 18-man squad for three UEFA European Championship 2016 qualifiers in Macedonia, where they will begin their campaign with a clash against the host nation on Thursday, 8th October before taking on Finland two days later.

They conclude their opening group stage with a match against Italy on Tuesday, 13th October. Two sides in the group will progress to the Elite Round qualifiers next spring.

Meanwhile Woolston, also a goalkeeper, will travel to Chile for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.

He will meet up with the squad at St. George's Park at the weekend and could be away for as long as a month depending on England's progress.
