United Agree Third Reciprocal Deal

Written by Newcastle Utd

United and Stoke have struck a reciprocal ticket deal, meaning cheaper seats for fans

Newcastle United and Stoke City have agreed to lower ticket prices for away fans attending the clubs' two Premier League fixtures this season, after striking a reciprocal deal for the second successive season.

The deal is the Magpies' third of the season following similar agreements with West Ham and Watford and its tenth overall since introducing the scheme in the 2013/14 season.

Reciprocal pricing offers away fans travelling to Premier League fixtures at St. James' Park cheaper match tickets in the visitors' section, providing their club guarantees the same low price for Newcastle supporters travelling to the corresponding league fixture.

As a result, away fans following the Magpies and the Potters respectively will pay just £20 for an adult away ticket, £10 for over-65s and disabled fans and just £5 for juniors when the teams meet at St. James' Park on Saturday, 31st October (3pm kick-off), and the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday, 2nd March (7.45pm kick-off).

Ticket information for the respective games will be confirmed in due course.

To purchase tickets for Wednesday's Capital One Cup third round fixture against Sheffield Wednesday or Saturday's Premier League clash with Chelsea, visit www.nufc.co.uk/tickets, call 0844 372 1892 (calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge) or visit the stadium Box Office.

Earlier this season, Newcastle United also confirmed it would use its ring-fenced away fans fund to ease the burden of the rescheduled lunchtime kick-off at AFC Bournemouth in November.

Newcastle will discount away tickets for the long trip to Bournemouth by £10, with adult tickets revised down to just £23, over-65s and under-16s reduced to £9 and tickets for Junior Magpies members and supporters requiring wheelchair spaces subsidised to only £1.

After two free trips to watch the team at Hull City and Everton last season, the Club has also confirmed that the independent Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association (NUDSA) will again receive two free away trips this season, which will include tickets, coach travel, food and stewarding.

NUDSA will first attend the Premier League fixture at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium next weekend.
