Goalkeeper Paul Woolston has been named in the lastest England under-18s squad for a friendly double-header against Holland next month.

The teenage shot-stopper - who joined Gateshead on a 29-day youth loan last week and was an unused substitute for the Heed against Kidderminster at the weekend - has previously represented his country at under-17 level.

England will travel to Zeist, near Utrecht, for the two matches on Thursday, 3rd and Saturday, 5th September.

North Shields-born Woolston made his Barclays Under-21 Premier League debut for Newcastle against Manchester United as a 15-year-old in March 2014, keeping a clean sheet.

England under-18s' last match was against Russia in June - with Woolston's Magpies team-mate, Freddie Woodman, starting in goal for the Young Lions.

The England under-18s squad is: Paul Woolston (Newcastle United), Will Huffer (Leeds United), Alfie Whiteman (Tottenham Hotspur), Reece Oxford (West Ham United), Easah Suliman (Aston Villa), Danny Collinge (Stuttgart), James Yates (Everton), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Jay DaSilva (Chelsea), Tayo Edun (Fulham), Tom Davies (Everton), Marcus Wood (Manchester City), Herbie Kane (Liverpool), Ben Sheaf (Arsenal), Marcus Edwards (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathan Holland (Everton), Chris Willock (Arsenal), Kaylen Hinds (Arsenal, Stephy Mavididi (Arsenal), Ike Ugbo (Chelsea).
