Newcastle United have landed in America for their 2015 pre-season tour.

Head coach Steve McClaren has named a 24-man party for Stateside trip, where the Magpies will play fixtures across three venues over the next ten days.

United will face Club Atlas on Tuesday, 14th July (8pm kick-off local time) at Miller Park, in Milwaukee, before taking on Sacramento Republic at Bonney Field, in Sacramento, on Saturday 18th July (8pm kick-off local time).

And Newcastle will complete their programme with a game against Portland Timbers on Tuesday, 21st July (7.30pm kick-off local time) at Providence Park, Portland.

Summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum will be involved in the tour, although not immediately, and will join up with his new teammates midway through the trip.

There are places on the plane for experienced campaigners like Fabricio Coloccini, Jack Colback, Tim Krul, Papiss Cisse and Steven Taylor, while youngsters Freddie Woodman, Rolando Aarons and Adam Armstrong are also involved.

Remy Cabella, Paul Dummett, Cheick Tiote, Mehdi Abeid, Sylvain Marveaux and Rob Elliot are not on the tour as they all work their way back to fitness on Tyneside following injuries.

As always, nufc.co.uk and nufcTV are the only places to come for in-depth coverage of United, be it at home or abroad.

Interviews, photos, previews, updates, reports and reaction from throughout the tour will be across the website, nufcTV and our other digital platforms, including Twitter (@NUFC), Facebook (facebook.com/newcastleunited) and YouTube (youtube.com/nufcofficial1892).
