United Announce 2015/16 Pre-Season Schedule

Newcastle United will play seven pre-season fixtures this summer in preparation for the 2015/16 Barclays Premier League season
Newcastle United have confirmed the Club's full seven-game pre-season schedule ahead of the 2015/16 Barclays Premier League season
The Magpies will embark on a three-game tour of the United States of America in July, as well as travelling to Gateshead, Sheffield United and York City. Supporters will also get an opportunity to see the squad in action at St. James' Park when the Club hosts German Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, 1st August.
United will kick-off their pre-season schedule at neighbours Gateshead, making the short journey to the International Stadium on Friday, 10th July (kick-off 8pm).
From Tyneside, the squad will travel across the Atlantic for three games in US cities Milwaukee, Sacramento and Portland.
First up will be Mexican side Club Atlas at Milwaukee's Miller Park baseball arena on Tuesday, 14th July (kick-off 8pm local time) before a fixture with United Soccer League club Sacramento Republic FC at its Bonney Field stadium on Saturday, 18th July (kick-off 8pm local time).
United will wrap up their transatlantic tour against Portland Timbers at Providence Park on Tuesday, 21st July (kick-off 7.30pm local time, subject to change).
The Magpies will return to the UK to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday, 26th July (kick-off 1pm) as part of former Blades defender and current coach Chris Morgan's testimonial. The squad's penultimate pre-season fixture will be at York City's Bootham Crescent on Wednesday, 29th July (kick-off 7.45pm).
United will conclude their pre-season programme at home to German Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, 1st August. Kick-off at St. James' Park will be at 3pm.

The 2015/16 Barclays Premier League season will get underway on the weekend of 8th-9th August 2015, with a full fixture list set to be announced on Wednesday, 17th June.
