Newcastle United's youngsters are preparing to take part in the Tournoi International de Football U17 in Saint-Andre-Lez-Lille this weekend.

As well as the Magpies, the competition features the likes of Toulouse, Standard Liege, Porto and Real Sociedad, and takes place between Saturday, 23rd May and Monday, 25th May.

United - who last entered two seasons ago, when Benfica won the tournament - are in Group C alongside FC Copenhagen and Dynamo Moscow.

This will be the 19th staging of the three-day event and matches are played over two 20-minute halves.

Liam Bramley and Kevin Richardson have named an 18-man squad, which is as follows: Nathan Harker, Kelland Watts, Ben Kitchen, Shane Donaghey, Ben Pollock, Owen Bailey, Jamie Holmes, Dan Lowther, Lewis McNall, Mackenzie Heaney, Callum Smith, Cameron Armstrong, Oliver Long, Yannick Aziakonou, Jai Grant, Kieran Olsen and Kurtis Russell.
