Chris Foy will referee Newcastle United's Barclays Premier League home fixture against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
It is the fourth time this season the Lancashire-based official has taken charge of a Magpies match, after being the man in the middle of United's 4-0 defeat at Southampton in September, a single-goal home triumph against Queens Park Rangers in November, and a 5-0 defeat at Manchester City in February
On that disappointing evening at the Etihad Stadium, Foy booked five players including Newcastle pair Vurnon Anita and Jack Colback.
So far, Foy has overseen 21 games in the 2014/15 campaign across the Premier League, Championship, League Two, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, issuing 77 yellow cards, eight red cards and awarding three penalties.
Fifty-two-year-old Foy started officiating in 1983 and worked his way up the ranks before becoming a Premier League referee in 2001 - with his first appointment coming in December of that year as Bolton and Charlton played out a goalless draw.
He was in charge of the 2009 League Cup final and the following year's FA Cup final - his highest honours to date.
On Saturday at St. James' Park, Foy will be assisted by Harry Lennard and Ian Hussin, with Mike Jones the game's fourth official.
