Rolando Aarons is in line to make his comeback from injury as Newcastle United Under-21s host Blackburn Rovers at St. James' Park on Tuesday night (7pm kick-off) in their final home game of the season.
The England Under-20 winger - who has made five first team appearances this season, scoring twice - has been sidelined since November with a series of hamstring complaints.
However, fit again and having been back in full training for more than a week, the 19-year-old is expected to feature against Blackburn in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture.
Other players with first team experience in the squad are Adam Armstrong, Callum Roberts and Lubo Satka, while Facundo Ferreyra, Freddie Woodman, Jamie Sterry and Olivier Kemen have all sat on the substitutes' bench in the Premier League.
Victory over Blackburn could lift Newcastle up into fourth place in the table, with one game remaining - away at West Bromwich Albion on Monday.
The East Stand at St. James' Park will be open for Tuesday's fixture, with FREE admission for season ticket holders and Members on production of their cards.
For anyone who is not a season ticket holder or Member, admission is just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
